Seit der Gründung 1989 hat Allegro Film über 30 Kino und TV-Filme hergestellt. Filme müssen und sollen die Menschen nachdenklich machen, sie berühren, sie zum Lachen bringen, sie unterhalten. Es ist ein Privileg, Kino und Fernsehen produzieren zu dürfen – ein kreativer Prozess, der nur in Teamarbeit und in Verantwortung für die Zuschauer stattfinden sollte. Unserem Credo „Hohe Qualität für ein möglichst großes Publikum“ folgend haben wir Filme wie: „In 3 Tagen bist du tot 2“, „Let's make MONEY“, „In 3 Tagen bist du tot“, „We Feed The World“, „Henker“, „Hundstage“, „Der Überfall“, „Drei Herren“, „Die Gottesanbeterin“, „Die Wahlkämpfer“, „Suzie Washington“ ins Kino gebracht. Außerhalb des heimischen Marktes konnten viele unserer Filme große internationale Filmfestivals als Tor zum Markt auch für internationale Verkäufe nutzen. Mit „We Feed The World“ (rund 205.000 Besucher im heimischen Kino) haben wir den erfolgreichsten österreichischen Dokumentarfilm aller Zeiten produziert. Ein silberner Löwe (Venedig 2001) für „Hundstage“ und ein bronzener Leopard (Locarno 2000) für „Der Überfall“ stehen bei uns versteckt herum. Since its foundation in 1989, Allegro Film has produced more than 30 films for cinema and TV. Films should and must give people food for thought, touch them, make them laugh, entertain them. Being able to produce films for cinema and TV is a privilege – a creative process which should only be undertaken as teamwork and with an enduring sense of responsibility for the viewer. Remaining true to our motto of the ‘highest quality for the widest possible audience’ we have produced feature films such as: „Dead in 3 days 2“, „Let's make MONEY“, „Dead in 3 days“, „We Feed The World“, „The Headsman“, „Dog Days“, „Hold Up“, „Three Gentlemen“, „The Praying Mantis“, „Election Campaigners“, „Suzie Washington“ Outside the Austrian market many of our films successfully gained access to international sales at foreign film festivals. With We Feed the World (which attracted audiences of around 205.000 in Austrian cinemas) we produced the most successful documentary film in Austrian cinematic history. A Silver Lion (Venice 2001) for Dog Days and a Bronze Leopard (Locarno 2000) for Hold up are also hidden away somewhere in our office!
